I am looking for a GOOD scar cream. I have tried a few and they do not work, I also heard tanning beds will eleviate the look of it as well. Lemme know....

Are you thinking of Mederma? It has a weird, oniony smell, but I haven't found that to be very helpful. I've tried several things and the best that worked for me so far have been the self-adhesive silicone patches you can find in the drugstore. They are clear but a bit bulky so you'll want to wear them at night while you sleep. So far they've done pretty well on my hypertrophic scars. Be sure to buy the self-adhesive patches, though. I spent a fortune on some small silicone discs I found online. But when they arrived, I discovered that they had to be affixed with surgical tape. Great. So now I have a big strip of tape across my face?? Sorta defeats the purpose of the small, clear discs. Anyway, good luck to you!

I don't remember what it's called but theres an rx creme made of onions (think it started with an m) that helped me with a major scar. It reduced the puffyness of it completely but not the color. Nothing will lighten a scar from being purple-y but time. If your scars are real old and lighter than your skin I tend to just use concealer.
