QUESTION: Can anti-anxiety drugs increase scab picking? My husband thinks I have gotten worse since I started taking Klonopin (1mg 2x/day).
ANSWER: It is certainly possible. The prescription drugs that most frequently trigger picking are the ones prescribed for ADHD. Sometimes a drug which one person feels is making it better is the same one that makes it worse. You have to experiment to know about your own situation.
