Does anyone else pick their scalp and upper forehead?

I pick my scalp and so much it frequently bleeds when I do it bapecause I do it so much, because once when I found yellow crusty stuff in my hair, I kept picking because I didn't want the feel of something like that IN me, or just on me, and the idea of it disgusts me, and I don't remember how this started, but I also pick a small bit above my forehead, and I dig into it, and it's horrible, and it keeps scabbing, and the whole process repeats. How long will it take for the skin to grow back?! The skin on my forehead and the huge area in my bangs has not healed, leaving crusty blood behind. Any ways to help?!

My scalp is usually not an issue, but has been for 2 months now. Same with forehead area. I am always having to strategically brush and style hair. I don't know why this area hasn't healed or at least scarred yet. I am so ashamed. My mother and sister have noticed and harp on me

I'm mostly a scalp picker these days and have two permanent areas that are scabbed over which I keep returning to. But I will pick at any loose skin or irregularity I find anywhere on my body. I've read here that using calamine lotion will heal up scabs and sores fast. Scroll down and find a post that talks about a cure.
