I need a plan

I'm a 14 year old and I'm in 8th grade and i Have been picking since i was about 8 or 9 i really need help to stop on my own cause my mom doesn't like it's much of a problem but i want to be able to wear short sleeves again i only pick on forearms like between my shoulder and elbow is there anyway to stop without needing help from an adult?
