Having surgery

So I am supposed to have surgery in a couple weeks.
I have pretty much stopped picking my skin but still have a couple of spots.
I am a little bit scared of the surgeon seeing my scared up skin/what to say about it.
Has anybody ever been denied surgery or anything because they pick their skin?
Is trying to get a spray tan to smooth it out some/even it out a terrible idea? I have a couple of really pinkish still scars..

Honestly I don't think the surgeon will say anything about it. I would think they are a bit more preoccupied before surgery than to worry about some blemishes. I also wouldn't be concerned about them denying you surgery. You honestly think they would pass up money like that?
