Laser skin resurfacing??

Hi everyone, I am considering to get laser skin resurfacing done on my face. After 18 years of picking my face, my skin is not in good condition. I have scars, uneven and textured skin and have enlarged pores. I really want my skin to look better and I did lots of research on laser skin resurfacing and the results look amazing! Has anyone else considered doing this? The problem is that I am still picking a lot...I want to wait to do this when I have more control over my picking. It would be stupid to do these treatments and still be picking at myself!
