acceptance

I have done this for as long as I remember. I am not hurting anyone. Why is this habit so taboo? I have no desire to stop, just not be judged. How is this any worse than the tatoos that everyone else gets these days?

Maybe have a think about why it is that you enjoy doing it but are so concerned with those who judge. I hope this hasnt offended you or upset you. :)

because we dont want to look the way picking makes us look. people who get tattoos want them.. they chose to have them and also all the judgement people want to lay on them for having them. if picking didnt make me feel like an ugly monster, if i was just as confident as i am with perfect skin it would be different. in my opinion, someone with tattoos can still appear healthy and clean and attractive to me.. but someone whos face is just a big scabby train wreck doesnt look healthy, and also probably wont seem attractive because their self confidence is so low.
