Hi! I've been a trich and skin picker for a long time.. I recently started picking my arm and leg hairs .. What's the worst that can happen besides the hair not growing back? The skin gets red and iterated witch goes away someone please respond asap! Thank you so much
my mom does this a lot- from what i've seen this can cause scabbing and slight bleeding but not much else, I hope it gets better!
Hey, this happens with my sister too. After this, she starts bleeding but not much. So she apply moisturizer after picking and just massage it with soft hand for 3 to 4 minutes. Then she feels okay.

Hi, I just joined when I saw this forum post. I also pick my leg and arm hair and more serious damage can be done. I have developed infected hair follicles on my legs and arms and it causes scaring, as well as terrible itching pain under the skin than is very annoying to get rid of. I've been living with this condition for almost 6 years now with no success with treatment. It makes the urge to pick a negative feedback loop that just keeps going and going. Good luck.
