Cutting Off Moles

I've been picking the skin on my fingers and lips for as long as I can remember. As I got older, it got worse. When my mom got me a manicure set when I was 13, I realized I could use the tweezers and nail snips to help me pick. Since then the picking has spread to my legs, my arms, and my face. Some of the moles on my body bother me, and they're benign, I just don't like the way they look. Recently, I've started to cut them off my body with nail clippers and even scissors. I know it's really bad but I'll get in these moods and I can't stop fixating on them until I cut them off. Does anyone else do this?

I haven't gone as far as actually removing them probably because I've been lucky enough not to have ever graduated to tweezers or clippers etc, I've only ever used my fingers but I have thought about it

I've had moles bother me, and have picked at them before. But I have not had the guts to rip or cut one off. Does it hurt a lot? Does it bleed?

Hi,

I have used tweezers, cuticle scissors and straight pins trying to rid myself of moles. It hurts, they bleed and they usually end up looking worse. My experience (easier said than done) is to leave them alone. I hope you have ease with it.
