Frustrated

So I have stopped picking and all of the scabs have healed which is wonderful and I am very proud of myself BUT I still have a lot of little red bumps all over my upper arms. I don't believe they are scars as they look like acne and some have little whiteheads. It's been about a month since I stopped picking at my arms and I was wondering if anyone had this problem and if so what made the bumps go away? I have been using Oxy 10 pads acne wash, exfoliating and moisturizing for the last few weeks but they are still there with no signs of diminishing. I am so terrified that I will relapse if they hangaround much longer the urge to pick at them is strong. Does anyone have any suggestions or had any success getting past this?

congratulations for stopping picking !!! ..... that's fabulous !! ...... about your arms, though, have you seen a dermatologist about this? perhaps it needs a diagnosis for a more specific treatment. perhaps it is an allergic reaction.

Thanks wildflower! It has not been easy as I am sure you know its a battle of wills daily but its gets easier. I thought about that too and I also had the thought that maybe I am doing too much and am irritating the skin.....maybe i will try backing off and seeing what happens. I just want all of my hard work to pay off......
