EXTREME PICKING?

Okay, so here is one that I really don't understand. Some of us may have garden variety picking. I have such a compulsion to pick at times that I literally rip out chucks of FLESH from the bottom of my feet, the edges of sores, even the cuticles. Sometimes I rip out my toenails. Yes, that's how bad it is. I have terrible bleeding sometimes. My house wants to take me to the ER for stitches at times, but I won't go. Why? So I can rip out the sutures? So I just hobble around until it gets better.
