Cuticle *remover* cream?

Like most of you, I can't tell you how relieved I was to find out that I'm not the only one with ugly, gross hands, but that there's so many of us from all walks of life and all ages!! Has anyone found a really GOOD cuticle remover cream? I've tried a bunch of OTC ones, and Avon, but none seem to actually remove the cuticle, just smooth it down a little (but still leaving enough for me to pick at). Years ago, Avon had a wonderful product that actually eliminated excess cuticle. I've tried so many cuticle smoothers, but I must just have really rough skin because nothing seems to work for long. Thanks.
