Hey Cammatt. I have the same problem. I've been biting the skin around my nails for years. Now they are red and swollen. My 26 and this is my first time researching this obsession. I never know so many ppl had it. I researched treatment methods for disfiguration and mostly all the research leads to a dermatologist. Maybe cheminal peels, skin grafts, or laser re-surfacing can help. Consult a dermatologist. I plan on doing so asap.
