hmm.... swimming, the biggest issue all pickers and self harmers and the likes face... :\ I guess you can trawl the internet for possible products... I know a lot of people use bio-oil and that's supposed to be quite good...

yeah, that's probably a good idea :) I know from people on the internet who self harm (weird the ties these two things have) that bio-oil is the best, but haven't tried it myself on any scabs. good luck. I think people also notice a lot less than you think. I have a few huge scars on my legs from times I've got wounds and picked at them for months and they went pretty deep and not one person has said anything until I've done a "haha look at my legs, this scar is from "blabla" this one is from "blabla"..etc etc etc" and they don't seem to notice when I have large scabs from mosquito bites either. and on top of that, I've been just putting bracelets on my self harm on my arm, which don't quite go high enough, but not one person has noticed. but yes, fingers crossed for you :) Xx

vitamin e oil ! its way cheaper than scar treatment oils and works wonders. the vitamin e helps heal you, and the oil will help with soreness (atleast in my experience, moisturizing is soothing and nice feeling)

Something I tried last night, Keep the affected areas damp over night. mine were open at the time, but from experience having my watch over new cuts all day while they are scabbed over and them weeping, that should work too. I put wet cotton wool pads on the affected areas and wrapped something round them and left it like that all night. this morning, all redness is gone around the cuts and they havent scabbed over. I don't know if it will work with anything else but maybe it's worth a try? :)

lavender essential oil is very good & relaxes you at the same time! This might freak you, but your own urine is the best healer. Gross, i know but so is our problem! Pee in a cup then use tissue or cotton wool to dab on the wounds. Do this about 10mins before you get in shower (so you don't go around smelling of pee!) It heals wounds fast & stops infection.

Pimples are primarily caused by being unhygienic. It can also be caused by dirt and dead skin cells that clogs on pore that leads to acne. Xymogen
