iron deficiency anemia and picking/eating

I'm anemic... One of the symptoms of anemia is to eat non-nutritive substances like ice, dirt, paint chips, or glue. The only one of these that I eat is ice... I also eat scabs... does anyone know if the non nutritive substance eating of anemia would include scabs?
