Scarring

Does anyone have any advice for scarring? I have a lot of scars on my face from six years of picking, as well as on my chest and shoulders. Most of them are red and raised. Sometimes they become inflamed (I'm not sure why) and then I end up picking them open again. Has anyone had success using any products that might help to reduce red/raised scars like I have?
