I don't know what to do anymore

I'm 18 and have always had a problem with picking at any blemish that pops up on my skin. If i get a pimple, I usually just scratch it away with my fingernail. It'll bleed a little but it usually heals nicely without a scar. Recently I had three small pimples on my forehead. I picked at them so badly that I now have two large sores in the middle of my forehead and one small red hole. I'm so embarrassed, I haven't gone out in public in over a week and a half. I've tried everything! Hydrogen peroxide, neosporin, other antibiotic creams, mederma, a microdermabrasion face cream, EVERYTHING. I hate the way my face looks now and I'm all out of ideas. I don't know what to do anymore, please help or give any advice that you can

I've read on this site that calamine lotion works...also, what I have tried in the past with wounds (especially mammoth zits [like the boil under the skin type too..]) is honey and a band aid. It worked for me :)

Hi there! The best thing that you can do is leave the damaged skin alone. I have done exactly what you described to my face and if you leave them alone, the skin will heal in 3 or 4 days. Use a gentle cleanser in the morning and nights and then Neosporin overnight. Other than that, let nature do its thing! Good luck. Be kind to yourself. xxx
