I pick my arms, abdomen, chest, and back. How do I clear up scars and scabs quickly?

I've had bumps all over my body for a couple of years now, and I can't help but pick at them. They appear on my arms, chest, abdomen, and back. It isn't too severe, but I do have scabs and red marks all over my body due to excessive picking. I'm going to the beach this weekend and want to try to get rid of as much redness and scabs as I can. If anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have a great solution that works like a charm for me. Immediately go to Safeway or a major drug store and buy a few boxes of Hydrocolloid adhesive bandages (aka blister bandaids). Cut each one into into 6 or 8 pieces and stick them on any red/irritated spots or scabs. They act like a layer of skin so they keep out potential irritants, keep in healing moisture—and the best part—keep you from consciously or unconsciously picking. Apply them to clean, dry skin ASAP and leave them on for a few days. When you take them off right before you head to the beach, you will be amazed by how much better your skin looks. Good luck!
