Face and fingers

I've picked my face for years, and chewed my fingers for less time. I have another thread on here, but I posted it over a year ago and don't feel like finding it. I decided this one is going to be a general track of how I'm doing. Feel free to post tips or anything on here.

For the past few weeks I had been doing a lot better. Then as soon as I got back to my moms house I picked again. not too bad, but enough to make me feel like crap. My fingers were gross too so I painted them and put this bad tasting stuff called Bite it on them. It's helped me stop chewing my nails, but not the skin around them. My face finally looks better again. Not perfect, but better. I realized that I can't keep popping the little black and whiteheads. They're a gateway to a wasted hour. I need to just not even look in the mirror.

Yeah I have the same problem. I feel like I can control it and just pop ONE pimple but it always leads to a disaster. I have been avoiding the mirror at all costs, with some slip ups but I had a good two months without picking, slipped up a couple weeks ago though, but I didn't destroy my face which I guess you could still call a small success. It's not helping that I break out like crazy during this "time of the month" but I am staying strong and keeping myself occupied. I am almost tempted to just cover my mirror completely so I have no temptation.
