Just 48 hours

If I can make it that far, I think the scabs should be fairly well healed. Hopefully that will keep (please) me from re-starting them The scabies meds seem to have helped, but they won't totally heal till I leave them alone. I have an appointment with my derm on Thurs. I also see my shrink a week after that. the anti anxiety meds seem to help. I just want my arms to no look so gross any more. Half the time I dont' even realize I'm doing it, until someone calls me on it

I'm going to try the next 48 hours too...starting now. It will give my face time to do some healing. I have to do this....i'm going insane. I should not be spending my Saturday evenings like this anymore....depressing.

Well the 48hrs didn't quite work. My scabs became like the pink elephant in the room. But I am happy to report I did do better than I have before. I have a lot stressful situations in my life right now, with my teenage son and his father, not to mention bills etc.. I wind up picking most when things are at thier worst. If I don't pick then I eat. I've had weight issues all my life. I recently lost a large amount of weight. Now it is slowly creepy back on. I feel so powerless, which is hard for someone who likes to be in control all the time. I definately have control issues

I made it a little over 48 hours a week ago... but for some reason the skin on my fingers got very thin and peely and I couldnt resist peeling the skin off. It was like dried glue. since then ive peeled less spots but more area on those spots Im dissapointed in myself. Reading these forums helps me lessen my picking though... so thank you for posting.
