I managed to stop- please help me with these scars

I am going to be 21 in exactly a week and I actually managed to stop picking at my arms. I still touch my face sometimes but I don't have at it like I used to- mostly because there are scars everywhere just glaring at me and I can't stop thinking ...just what have I done. I have very big and dark scars on my face, some light ones and dents. It's horrible and if it weren't for make up I would never leave the house. Please, can someone help me with these scars? Will they ever fade??? Has anyone's scars faded overtime? Thanks.

I'm sorry I can't be of any help, all I can say is that I'm in the same boat as you. I'm 20 and I just quit picking my arms, but there are white patches and some dents all over my left arm, some on my right. My face is still being picked a bit as is my back and chest, but not too badly. I'd love to at least have beautiful arms that I don't feel self-conscious about showing off in short sleeves. Luckily it is cold out so I have about 6 months to get rid of these scars before the warm weather returns. One thing I do know is that scars fade over time, but I think it takes years...

Oh my gosh I have white scars and all kidns of scars ALL OVER my upper arms it's horrible. I always wear long sleeves. I started at my face again and my back is starting to act up. I think it does take years and sometimes it never goes away....I think I will buy make up for my arms as crazy as that sounds..

Water, water and more water, GREEN veggies, coconut water and vitamin E capsules daily. Hot yoga works fantastically and no drinking!

If you do have indented scars you could try buying a dermaroller. I have one and have been having some positive changes with scarring. Another option I found if dermaflage, google it or look on you tube. It is expensive, but does what it says it does.
