Stress Reliever

Tonight I couldn't sleep. I have so much stress and things on my mind that I couldn't wind down and relax. Eventually something came over me and I ripped my lip to shreds. Now I feel like I can just pass out. I don't like taking my stress out on myself. I need to find a new way. Until then it just happens over and over. Ideas? :/

i dont know if this is the same for every picker but a lot of times, when im mad or stressed if im in public and not really able to pick at myself i will find myself tearing up a piece of paper into the tiniest little pieces that i possibly can. i zone out just like how i used to with picking and just tear away.. its kind of wierd, people always notice and point it out. but its so much better than tearing myself up !

I like this way of thinking! Its a much better way to relieve stress then tearing up our skin, another solution I find is exersize, for when your laying awake at night and cant sleep, I usually get on the floor, do a few sit up's or push ups, it helps to relieve stress AND helps to tire you out :) Or find something you enjoy doing that keeps your hands entertained, it will assist with them finding their way to you lips :)

YES ! EXERSIZE ! not only does it relieve stress in the moment but also, i find that it relieves stress and makes me feel better about myself and general and ALSO when you get your blood flowing it helps you heal !!! (: (: yay for healing

:D It defiantly is a huge pick me up, I find I cant feel down about myself when Im exersizing, as well as healing, your also toning keeping your body healthy, a healthy body has healthy skin, its good for you in SO many ways AND it can be free, walking around the block is considered exersize! and its fun!!
