I'm a skin picker and I want to stop. Is anyone online right now so we can discuss are problems and resolve them together.

I pick at my skin. Its really getting to me now. I scratch it and pick it. I am 15 years old and I'm a girl. All my friends and family have clear skin except for me. I want to live my teenage years without having to have this urge of picking and scratching my skin.

I guess the one that asked in anyone is on-line Now is gone for now. But, as I stated in my longer comment. I am 54 and come from a family that ALL had the biting and picking the hands Dermaphomia or whatever it;s called, AND now at 54 just medicated properly for the first time this last year and 1/2. I can say Medications can help. Anxiety, Depression, OCD, and Bi Polar That's what my doctor is trying to help me with and after trying this one and that one over and over ya just have to get the right coctail or blend just for you! ALSO, I cannot stress it enough that SUGAR has an almost immediate effect on humans. Just as the rats in lab testing. It is really asking for it to eat it. I still do at times, and have it in my coffee. Which is another stimulant we all know caffieine is gonna make it worse. Just be mindful friends. BALANCE some "B" Vitimins (B Complex) has all the B vitimins, that lower stress. BALANCE our BODY, MIND AND SOUL!! Nutrition for BODY, and yes your Medications for MIND and last but not least MEDITATION for SOUL! Balance them and stay in the moment with the meditation Jason SAYS CURED HIM!!! Somewhere on-line. As well as some others I have read found the meditation to work. They simply just FOCUS on one thing ( like their own breathing) and NOTHING else for over half an hour! GREAT Mind Strenthening! Good mind control. It is the only thing that separates us from the animal world. We have POWER OF CHOICE. SO focusing on one thing is great brain exercise (if it's a healthy thing). Let's focus on breathing like he said for starters. At least then, we won't be focusing on our hands.
