Lip picking :/

I get so stressed out all the time because I cant stop picking my lip. I started doing it when I was really young and I know its anxiety based, but I am having the hardest time stopping. I want my lips to look good and I dont want to be like this anymore. I have tried neosporin and chapsticks. I don't know what else to do. I wont even wait for my skin to get dry, ill just start picking and I do it everyday sometimes quite frequently. I need help and I am worried if I seek out a doctor they wont be able to do anything. I am overwhelmed and exhausted. Can anyone help me?

Have you tried Aquafor? I use that on my lips when they crack. I have a habit of chewing on my lips when I am concentrating really hard on something, usually when on the computer at work. I really like Aquafor. I also am addicted to chapstick! I like all of the different flavors. Go and get some of the EOS lipbalms, I think they are the best! I seriously make out with this thing at least 10 times a day! Just Google EOS. :)

so im a acne picker, but on days where i try to stop picking, i some how end up picking my lips. This may sound very weird but my favorite tool is tweezers because i get my nails done and I can never get a good grip but something that helped me with my lips was lip scrubs that you can buy online or at macys or you can make one at home. it gives you perfect lips that has no skin to pick. its amazing but can be expensive depending on quality of product. Good Luck!

I pick my lips with my fingers until they have flaps of skin hanging off, then I chew them. Then I do the same thing with the scabs that form. But I don't have a serious problem with this yet, it's just something I do when I'm bored and trying to avoid picking my fingers or face. But if I put chapstick on, they're too slippery to pick and they taste gross, so you might try just putting it on all the time.
